Embroidered Lawn Suits
Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Turn inside out before washing to protect thread work, zari, and sequin embroidery. Do not soak for more than 5 minutes. Avoid wringing — gently press out excess water.
Luxury & Formal Suits
Dry clean only for suits with heavy embroidery, beadwork, mirror work, or stone embellishments. For chiffon, organza, silk, and net fabrics — never machine wash. Inform the dry cleaner of all embellishment types before cleaning.
Washing — Lawn & Cotton
Wash separately — dark and light colors must never be mixed. Use a phosphate-free mild detergent. Cold or lukewarm water only. Hot water causes shrinkage and color bleeding in lawn and printed fabrics.
Ironing
Use medium heat for lawn and cotton. For silk, chiffon, and organza — low heat only with a pressing cloth on top. Always iron embroidered pieces inside out. Never iron directly over embellishments, beads, or sequins.
Drying
Air dry in full shade — never expose to direct sunlight. Sunlight fades colors and weakens delicate fabric fibers, especially in lawn, chiffon, and silk. Lay flat on a clean towel to maintain shape. Do not tumble dry.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place in breathable garment bags. Use padded hangers for formal suits to prevent shoulder distortion. For embroidered pieces, fold with tissue paper between layers to prevent creasing and embellishment damage. Avoid plastic covers — they trap moisture.
Stain Removal
Act immediately — blot the stain, never rub. Use cold water and a small amount of mild detergent on the affected area. For embroidered or luxury suits, take to a professional dry cleaner for stain treatment to avoid permanent damage.
Dupatta Care
For chiffon and silk dupattas — hand wash gently or dry clean. For lawn and cotton dupattas — cold gentle hand wash. Never wring or twist. Air dry flat in shade. Iron on low heat with a pressing cloth to maintain sheen and texture.
